Even I, the Butchie-monikered “Maim Jeter” stood and clapped in my apartment. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t get overly sentimental for Jeter but I respect the hell out of him for this accomplishment and for putting in all the hard work it took to be the best SS in Yankee history.
Congrats to Derek, long live the king.
