That makes sense. Maybe I just look at things differently.

Technically, if we look at it like that we have lots to worry about. I hold my breath with any ball hit to 3B because Alex's range is about as large as an orange right now, anything hit up the middle to the left of the bag is most likely a base hit, any sharply-hit ball to LF or RF will be tough with Damon or Swish, any bunt when CC is on the mound, any time somebody steals when Jorgy is behind the plate, etc. We can just go on, right?

Really guys? Tough Yankee crowd...I see Posada hitting a bomb that clinches a game for us before I see him costing us a game because of a passed ball.

Now, if we changed that to a team running wild on him than I may agree. But we all know you take the good with the bad with Jorgie. Yeah he lets some balls get by him and doesn't throw runners out as well as he used to, but his offensive contribution makes it easier to move past his defense and gives us an advantage most teams don't have.

Unless you'd rather have Molina back there in the playoffs to prevent that passed ball?

@ MJ:
I can also see that happening since Robertson's role will most likely to get the big strike out in a tough spot (since he's one of the best reliever's in terms of k-rate in the league).

Actually, I have to say that I can see that too. Posada has never been particularly great back there when it comes to blocking balls and every so often he seems to get lazy back there and lets one get away that could've been grabbed by a more athletic or fleet-footed receiver.
