Can it get any better than this?

The Twins are starting to look like the 1988 Dodgers…and that scares me…does it make the 2009 Yankees to be the 1988 Mets?

Just like the 1988 Dodgers. Except that they can hit a little.

Oh, and who’s taking on the role of world-beating ironman staff ace?

      Carl Pavano?

      I don’t think so.

Gardenhire almost gave the game away last night, it’s a good thing Cuddyer (and Span) bailed him out.

Will be there today, I’m curious to see how all this will play out. Is there anything you guys would like me to say to Pavano? 😀

      @ Raf:
Dude – you should write a book! You are my travel to a ballpark idol!

My hope this past week has been that Detroit wins but expends its energy in doing so. (Happy to see Verlander pitching today. That’s big if we play them.) Minny plays the Yankees very well. That series against them at the Stadium was not nearly as lopsided as the results (4-0) indicated.
