What I'd love to see on Yankees Classics would be some of the great regular season & ALCS games from the late 70s from the original WPIX broadcasts with Scooter, Frank Messer & Bill White.

Anyone younger than 30 may not realize the local networks used to broadcast the LCS until the early 80s. Having to suffer through Chip Caray for three hours makes me yearn for those days.

However, I get the feeling Channel 11 didn't preserve the tapes of those games back then. Even when Chris Chambliss' 1976 ALCS ending HR is broadcast on Yankees Classics, it's the ABC telecast.
