Ah, gotcha.  Makes sense to me though.

Not that I was crying tears for the Red Sox and Angels but a noon start time was preposterous.  You don&#039;t start at noon on any other day of the year (except for maybe Patriot&#039;s Day up there in Boston) so why should two teams play at such an odd hour in the playoffs?

Selig and Co. never, EVER get the layup/slam-dunk common-sense ones right.</description>

		<description>Instead of splitting up the off days, have 2 back to back games, travel day, 2 more back to back, with another travel day then game 5 if needed.  

IOW, games on 10/7-8, 10/10-11, 10/13

A minimum of 4 games can be played in a day, 1-4, 4-7, 7-10, 10-1am, or if they want to double up, 4-7, 7-10 with staggered dates for the ALCS &amp; NLCS.

Of course this way doesn&#039;t really offer that much of an advantage over the way it&#039;s currently done, I&#039;m just being fussy :D</description>
