My feeling is, as much as the PS is about pitching, our bats need to come alive. If the Halos can score 6 off of our guy, there's no reason we can't score 9. Being patient and getting into the Angels BP will be key. Also, it seems we relax for the first 6 innings and then decide to play. We need to score early and put pressure on the other team.

We have the best O in the game. If we hit enough, the pitching becomes moot. Yeah, I hope our Big 3 come though, but our offense shouldn't count on it.

Regarding, Pettitte, I don't find this surprising, given how the Yanks had not fared well against the Angels in the past. The only bummer for me is that if the series gets to Game 6 and Pettitte's the starter, I might have to watch him get lit up, as I did when I attended Game 2 of the 2002 ALDS.

The key is really Sabathia and good weather. If there are no postponements for Game 1 and Game 2 and Sabathia does his job, the Yanks can pitch him again in Game 4. If that happens, I like my chances that one of Andy or AJ can squeak out a Game 2/Game 3/Game 5 win.
