Anybody else see the NLCS rotation Torre is trotting out there?
Kershaw, Padilla, Kuroda, Wolf (Billinglsey to the pen, Garland not on the roster).
Here’s hoping the Yanks take care of the Angels and meet the Dodgers in the World Series!
@ YankCrank:
Typical Torre. He bats A-Rod 8th and now he demotes his second-best starter (Billingsley) to the bullpen. Seirously, why is this guy considered such a good manager?
Having said that, Kershaw is a brilliant pitcher and Padilla has been lights out in the NL. Considering “Cholly” Manuel has decided to pitch Pedro in Game 2, the Dodgers have to feel pretty good that they can win Game 1 (Kershaw/Hamels) and Game 2 (Padilla/Martinez).
Hinkse off the roster and Guzman on. Thoughts?

Joe must plan on pinch running a lot

Tweet from Pete Abe: M. Cabrera is 1 for 12 against Jered Weaver. Bet he sits that game and Gardner starts. Hence, Guzman on roster.

He just can’t quit the life of a Yanks reporter?

Well…he DOES have a bunch of free time now.
@ MJ:
Don’t forget he batted Matt Kemp 8th, and is starting Ronnie Belliard over Orlando Hudson
@ bfriley76:
LOL, ain’t it great?!
@ Raf:
Trust me, you don’t have to remind me. Kemp’s my favorite non-Yankee and I’ve been lamenting just that fact all season. Torre has done a piss-poor job of managing the Dodgers this year and I don’t feel like I’m exaggerating one bit.

Yeah, I was surprised that Torre chose Mini-Manny over O-Dog. He did a similar thing in 96 and we know what the result is! as much as I respect Philly’s lineup, Clueless Joe’s BP and SP look better than the Phightin Phils’. This is what can give him the advantage.
About Pete Abe, he couldn’t wait until the season was over to shill for the Red Pox/Bloody Sox? Please, now he can enjoy the horrid New England fall without baseball…good riddance!

Agreed about the LAD bullpen. Don’t agree on the rotation, however. Now that the so-called genius Torre has banished Billingsley to the bullpen, he’s got Kershaw and Padilla headling his rotation. Philly has Lee/Hamels. I like Philly’s better, especially because I think Happ/Blanton/Martinez is better than Wolf/Kuroda
