Fringe
I enjoy watching the show Fringe on FOX. I say “enjoy” because I enjoy it – but, I wouldn’t say that I’m addicted to it, the way I was with “Prison Break.” In any event, the thing that I like most about the show is the character of Agent Olivia Dunham. I love the real-feel to her character. And, there’s a sense of strength that resonates in actress Anna Torv’s portrayal of Dunham that I find very admirable. But, it wasn’t until I saw her on the Emmys that I knew she was Australian. Now, that’s acting skill – since there is no trace of an accent in Dunham, etc., and she sure passes, in character, as being American. (Sort of like Hugh Laurie in “House” – hiding his British accident.)
Where this show goes, from here, I dunno…but, chalk me up as a fan of Anna Torv, from now, for sure…

I’m lovin this show. It and Flashforward are incredibly enjoyable to watch. Fringe is very X-filesque and I was a big fan of that one. Walter is one of the better characters on TV IMO, lol.
I watch both Fringe and Flashforward.I ‘m a big Lost fan and Fringe was co-created by the co-creator of Lost, JJ Abrams. Fringe is sorta like X-Files filietered through the weirdness and intelligence of Lost! Anna Torv happens to be Rupert Murdoch’s nice BTW. I could tell she was an Aussie, I have relatives that have lived here a long time and she has the rhythm and sort of Aussie pronunciation of certain words that gives her away to me ,then again it’s part of my background. Anna is really a great actress ,isn’t she? she’s so deserving of being the star of the show even though Joshua Jackson is the better known face.
Walt is a character alright! He’s literally the epitome of the nutty professor…….
Can you believe that Theresa Russell guest starred last week? God, did she do an awesome job last week. Poor Kirk Acevedo, I liked him so much. Knowing JJ from Lost they might find some weird way to bring him back. The alternate dimension stuff is literally from another world! And JJ had to get Nimoy on board, how typically JJ(bringing in a Star Trek alumnus). In addition ,Lance Reddick (a Lost alumnus who played an evil good guy or possibly even a good bad guy, we still haven’t found out what side is good or bad yet on Lost) has been doing a bang up job on the show. Who can forget ,Blair Brown? She eats up that scenery like it’s going out of style.
