Alright Yanks, let’s make sure to win at least one game in Anaheim to make this road trip a success.

It would awesome to win the next two or two of three and end it, but realistically, going back home for Game 6 up 3-2 would be awesome.

We’re a real good team, winning one of three shouldn’t be too tall an order, should it?

The wins in Anaheim late September were huge for that reason. We showed we could win there playing their game, small ball. It was steals by Gardner and excellent pitching that got those wins. The pitching will give the outcome yet again. We pitch good, and keep it close, we take at least 1 game, fo sho.

There’s really no reason why the Yanks can’t expect to win at least one game in Anaheim.

Although I’d rather sweep or win in five, if the Yanks come back to New York up 3-2, I have tickets to Game 6 so it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if they *had* to clinch in my presence. But I’m still definitely rooting for my tickets to become bookmarks and for the Yanks to take care of business before the weekend.

Anyone planning on heading to the Stadium tonight?

I wish but by the time I’d get there, the game would be half over… :-(

If the Yanks don’t win at least one of these 3 games in SoCal, they’re not going to win this ALCS. That said, I do expect them to win at least one of these games…’tho I would like to see them win two and get this over with before they come home.

At the end of the day, Yanks need to win 2 of 5 games – and, if they can’t do that, then they don’t deserve to win.

The Angels always hit Pettitte well, and that scares me today, And, if the Yanks lose today, that puts a lot of pressure on CC tomorrow to do well on 3-days rest. While I expect CC to be fine tomorrow, if the Angels do win today, and then win a close on tomorrow, that sets up AJ in Game 5, on the road…not the best place to be in…

So, win today, win tomorrow, and then start tuning up for the World Series…yeah, that’s the ticket…

That’s really all you needed to say. Whether we win one game in Anaheim or not, if we can’t win two of the next five than we simply don’t deserve to represent the AL.

But I have a lot of faith in our team that we’ll be able to win one of the next three. Today is certainly not a must win, and in no way did I expect the Yankees to sweep this series. So I will not be included in the panic portion of the Yankee fan base if we lose today.

Steve what makes you think that the Yanks couldn’t win 2 back at home if the Angels take all three. CC would be at full rest at that point ( a Game 7) and quite frankly he’s been great lately. I do agree that they don’t deserve to win if they lose all three of these games BUT that won’t stop them from winning those games back at home if need be.

IMHO, if they lose the next 3 in SoCal, then the “Remember 2004″ crush from the fans, local media, and all the major outlets (like ESPN), will create a monster wave of pressure that will make it almost impossible for New York to win two in a row, after that, at home…esp if any of those 3 losses in SoCal are close or blown games, like those two games they lost in Fenway in 2004…
