I agree completely.  Although I fully understand and accept the argument that James wouldn&#039;t risk his reputation as the so-called goddfather of baseball analysis for the sake of Red Sox dollars, I always wonder why he&#039;d even give the appearance of a conflict of interest if he weren&#039;t already slightly compromised.

I know James knows a lot and he&#039;s done good work but I also think there&#039;s something a wee bit unholy about him working for a ballclub and still publishing as a supposed unbiased observer. It hurts his credibility in my eyes, at least a little bit.</description>
