Our own “M.J.” will be at the game tonight…so, let’s wish him some good luck with the weather and even better luck with bringing home a Yankees win in this one!

Thanks Steve.
I need some major cheering up because I really, really, really don’t want to go tonight. I have a horrible feeling about what I’m going to see.
I guess the only bright side — if there is one — is that this’ll be the first game I go to this year where it’s not #62 or Chad Gaudin starting the game. I suppose maybe that’s a positive omen? I’m reachin’ here, seriously, I’m struggling to even fake excitement…

Question for ya: Before the series started, if someone said to you that the Yankees would have a 3 games to 2 lead going back to the stadium for game 6, would you have taken it then?

Grabbed it and wud hv run as quickly as possible

Honestly, no. My feeling was always that if it came back to NY, something went wrong and we were back in 2004 territory. I know this isn’t the same team as the ’04 squad but I don’t completely trust Pettitte anymore and I knew that Pettitte was set for a Game 6. So there’s my answer.
@ MJ:
The Yanks will win tonight. They have to win tonight. Because, if they don’t, even if the win the next game, then they’re screwed for the World Series – having to use CC in Game 7 of this LCS.

Can someone explain to me why this has to be the case? Let’s say the game rains out tonight. Why not just use CC tomorrow, for game 6? Then if they win, CC is on normal rest for the world series, and Andy will be on normal rest for the World Series, too.
@ Steve Lombardi:
I agree they HAVE to win tonight in order to avoid a 2003 situation. I just don’t think they WILL.
And with that, I’m off to the game.
