Say did you guys see that the Cardinals hired Mark McGwire to be their hitting coach? Talk about a distraction..

Oh, I am happy like a pig in mud. I am glad Saunders is out after hearing McCarver and Buck rave over him in the beginning. He’s gotten smashed by the Yankees historically and McCarver specifically can shove it now.

It’s possible, but also depends on where they are in the lineup.

Ever notice when Joba and Phil have been in against the Angels balls are bouncing off their gloves or going underneath them?

Bagel Boy delivers. MJ avoids stroke, for the moment…

      @Steve

Fox just mentioned that Rivera has only given up 2 postseason HR’s. I can remember Sandy Alomar’s in 97, but the 2nd escapes me. Was the other David Ortiz?

    32. October 25th, 2009 | 11:24 pm

For all of Girardi’s foibles in this series, Mike Scioscia has not had a good series in the opposing dugout.

Has anyone else seen Fox’s technical difficulties too?

    42. October 25th, 2009 | 11:46 pm

      @ g1ph7:
      Nope. Nothing major, that is…

    43. October 25th, 2009 | 11:47 pm

3 run lead, and maybe some more to come…
But, it’s making Mo sit a long time on the bench, and that concerns me…

    44. 77yankees
      October 25th, 2009 | 11:47 pm

The only technical difficulties are the announcers in the booth.

Btw, isn’t the stage set for A-Rod here to jack one?

Thanks, it’s fine. My little (I use the term relative to age, not size) brother got into a fight with some guys and got his ass kicked pretty bad. His friend called me so I went to pick him up and make sure he was alright.

    52. October 26th, 2009 | 12:11 pm

@ Corey: Yikes. Bigger than you? Must have been a lot of those other guys.

      October 26th, 2009 | 12:44 pm

      @ Steve Lombardi:
It was 3 of them, and my brother and his 2 friends. When the fight started, one of my brother’s friends (the one who did the talking, funny how it always works out like that) bolted leaving my brother and his friend alone. My brother is 17 and his friend is 18, the guys they were fighting were supposedly in their early 20′s.

      October 26th, 2009 | 12:45 pm

Not to mention my brother thinks he’s unstoppable in a fight because he took some self defense lessons. Hopefully, he’s learned a lesson.
