The 3 rings are testament to that. Not to mention they beat the Braves twice. The 00s are tough to call. You dont have a clear cut fave like there was in the 90s. If Yanks lose this WS, I dont think they can be in the discussion for team of the decade. First place finishes are nice, but without the rings its kinda all for naught right? If they do win this WS...gotta be The Yanks.
