@ Scout:
That's right, and the weakest closer of any playoff team has yet to throw a pitch at this point.

Rollins took it too far with that prediction. That was an E-6, and I'm glad we're making him eat those words, and chew them all up before swallowing.

If Manuel starts Blanton tonight, the talking heads can no longer sing his praises as a "great baseball mind," the way they have been in this series. Girardi has so far made fewer mistakes and Manuel has made some doozies, but the biggest one would be to save Cliff Lee, who looked like he could have pitched 18 innings in game 1.

We may sweat with our bullpen, but how do you think Phillies fans feel with theirs? Asked to stop the bleeding after hamels gives up 5 runs, the Phillies pen surrenders three more, including two home runs.

And if some of our hitters have been struggling, it pales in comparison to Ryan Howard....

Don't forget, the Phillies figured Mariano out. What they folded in what 8 or less pitches today? Puhleeze

Phillies in 5? Yeah, right. Great job there, J-Wrong.

Didn't look good at the start - it looked like it had all the makings of a blowout. But A-Rod & Swish finally come through, leaving Ryan Howard as the Least Valuable Player this series.

Big props for Babe Pettitte coming through with the stick. I'm hoping Sunday night for eight quality innings..........and a HR from CC.
