Melky Injured Yup, It’s That Time Of The Year Again
Nov 02

If you check any Yankees players baseball-reference page, under their post season stats section it will list the 2009 World Series stats for that player. Under the result column, it will say W (for win). Sure, it doesn’t mean anything, but it’s pretty awesome.

Here’s A-Rod’s for example.

Although I’m thrilled that B-R is so optimistic, I do wish they’d have waited just a bit before doing that.

It has the feeling of those presumptuous 19-0 t-shirts the Patriots had made before they lost to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

It’s cool, MJ, there’s already been one of those on the other side.

A Philly newspaper printed an ad from Macy’s congratulating the Phillies on being “back-to-back World Series Champions”.

    Here’s the ad itself:

So everything’s even from karmic equilibrium point.

    My mistake: “back-to back champs”.
