How can you hear them over their ear shattering ringtone of "Don't Stop Believin'" going off every two minutes in the diner?

It's a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, being a baseball fan gives me an "in" to so many friendships and/or conversations that I can pretty much talk to anyone. On the other hand, I've learned so much more about baseball since 2005 (thanks to the internet and the blogosphere) that -- at the risk of sounding like a snob -- it's hard to dumb it all down sometimes.

Basically I do what Steve and Raf do, I just go along with it. But it does get annoying sometimes when you hear someone say something so dumb that you want to correct them but you can't because you don't want to be a jerk...
