I can agree with you there. If the Yanks win, Teixeira/Cano and any other “worst choke” candidate should be exonerated.

I guess people are just preparing themselves for another epic failure, for a variety of reasons.

I love sports journalism. Badger a player about why he’s performing poorly, asking for an explanation, and when he offers one, write a column about how many excuses he’s offering up. These sound like valid explanations of “I’m not playing well…because I’m not playing well.” I guess that’s why they get paid the big bucks, but sometimes people just don’t hit and it’s got nothing to do with anything.

I know, and I just hope Teixeira/Cano get to wear rings, even if they didn’t earn ‘em.

As long as a mix of Jeter, Damon, A-Rod, Posada and Matsui stay hot we’ll be ok.

Teixeira and Cano can shove it. They’ve sucked and I don’t want to hear excuses from them. Their approach at the plate has been horrendous.
