Out of curiosity, I just noticed that WasWatching.com is currently among the Top 50 Baseball Blogs on Technorati and among the Top 100 Baseball Blogs on BallHype. Not too shabby.

That said, this does mark a good time to go all Bartles & Jaymes on ‘ya and say “… and thank you for your support…and for having an interest in WasWatching.com…”

What’s the over/under on our regulars who see “Bartles and Jaymes” and say….what the heck is that?

Actually, the last time I did a reader survey, I found that 54 % of those who took the survey were age 36 or older. And, 40% were older than 40.

      Confirmed a thought that I always had…

The older Yankees fans “get me.” The younger ones, which makes up most of those who play on the ‘net, not so much…

It’s not a rule. Some of the under 30 crowd enjoy what I do here. But, most of them enjoy blogs with a different format more…

..just always been a thought of mine. Based on feedback and the like.

      @ Steve Lombardi:

I fall into the over 36/under 40 bracket. Basically the only online Yankee blogs I frequent are this one, NoMaas (for the laughs) and LoHud for the instant dish.

I can’t tolerate the local tabloid online blogs otherwise.

Thanks the beauty of the Yankees blogosphere!

There’s enough parties going on out there to enable all to find the one(s) that they enjoy the most.

      @ Steve Lombardi:
As a member of the under 30 crew, I can tell you I get 99% of the Trek references (nerd alert), about half of the music references, and less than half of the pop culture references pre 1990′s.

Hey, at least you’re getting some of them! ;-)
