    If these guys continue at this pace, when comes down to Andy Pettitte, Phil Hughes, Jeff Niemann and David Price, Joe Girardi’s going to have a tough call on who to select and use…unless the league just makes the call for him?

      Pick the Rays starters and run them out there till their arms fall off.

      Yeah, and make them throw weighted baseballs during the game.

      If it’s me, I take Danks, Price, Hughes, Marcum, Lester, Verlander, Romero, and maybe Weaver. And I start with Lester and Verlander.

      It’s an All-Star game. You need starters with swing and miss stuff. You bring a “pitches to his defense” starter to this game, and you know what you get? Atlee Hammaker, 1983, John Burkett, 1993, or Tom Glavine, 1992 and 1998 is what.
