      If that ever happened to me, after seeing how successful muttering Derek Jeter was in getting to meet him, I would try “Free Season tickets in the Legends Suite” as my first words. Can’t hurt, right? ;)

      Pretty funny story. I guess this NYPD officer was dreaming of the Yankees during those 11 days while he was in a coma. Fortunately he came out of it so he could live his dream.

      Jeter’s initial response was probably as off-the-cuff as I’ve ever seen/heard him: “Depends on what he’s thinking about before he said those words…”

      I thought the same thing, except I would say “a billion dollars.”
