the guys on the team will do whatever they want, but I could live without the pie-throwing.
I don’t know, let’s just ban walking, talking, crossing the street, playing catch with your kids and/or running after them, the only thing allowed would be baseball related activities.
Seriously, if stuff like this happens then it has nothing to do with the celebration, it’s just some freak thing and it should be interpreted as such. Sometimes stuff happens, what can you do?
If his knee was THAT fragile, then wouldn’t it have eventually happened if he had pivoted incorrectly? Or if he was rounding 2nd on a ball hit into the gap? Wasn’t it Gabe Kapler that hurt himself during his homerun trot, should we just ban the homerun trot too?
Are these the world’s greatest athletes or your local over 30 fast pitch baseball team?
