1st error:
Don’t look for the 155th exit on the northbound Deegan. There is no such exit. It’s East 161st St./Stadium. Southbound Deegan has a 153rd St. Exit.
I know, because contrary to the advice given at the top of the piece, I drive there everytime I go (and I come from Brooklyn).
2nd error:
Though I leave early, you don’t have to get there 90 minutes before gametime. I’ve gotten there as late as 6:20-6:30. Parked, walked into the Stadium, picked up whatever food I wanted for dinner and brought it to my seat well before 1st pitch.
3rd point:
I’ve never taken the Grand Concourse away from the Stadium after the game. Never had to. Can’t explain why. It’s a secret. I don’t pre-pay for parking, either. I can’t tell you if you should or not.
4th point:
I’ve been to about 20 games since the new place opened. I’ve used StubHub for all but 2 of them; havn’t been ripped off yet. Yes, you have to pay a 10% of purchase price service charge, and a printing fee, but I’ve frequently been able to get some bargains there.
Oh, and most of the stuff in this “CBS Guide” comes directly from Yankee Stadium Insider. They do give a link to Insider and give special thanks to them for “contributing”.
Sort of like James Madison contributed to the Federalist Papers.

Secret’s out; it’s because you’re coming from & going to Bk
I used to take the CG away from the Stadium when I was living in Mt Vernon. When they took away parking on Gerard and the side streets, I parked @ Woodlawn or Bedford Park and took the train down. After the games people are usually bunched up on the downtown platform and you’ll usually have to wait a couple of trains before you catch one. Uptown is much easier.
