…or it could be the last three-HR night of his career.

And I missed it. Was at my sister’s house and she and the nephews wanted to watch Inglorious Basterds.

      So we did.

      Sigh.

You were watching the Red Sox game?? LOL

But A-Rod is obviously on a steep decline. Right, Steve?

I hope this is the start of a power surge…man, he crushed every single one of them too. No cheapies…

      @ Evan3457:
Don’t feel bad, I passed on it too to watch Inglorious Basterds as well.

Dunno. Was the Big Hurt on a steep decline back in 2007?

Bottom line, a three-HR game does imply that a guy may have a long road of HRs left to come…

Agreed. Just means he got three good swings in.

JTLYK Babe Ruth hit 3 HRs in one game on May 25th, 1935. They were the last homeruns of his career. He retired a week or so later.

Just as a two week HR drought doesn’t imply that he’ll turn into a singles hiter either.
