O.K., here it is, with 32 games remaining for the Yankees and Rays, and, 31 games remaining for the Red Sox.

How’s that for close?
It could happen. Rays have the much easier schedule the last 9 games. Yanks probably have to take 5 of 7 from them if they want the division.
Still happy the Rays beat the Sox 2 of 3. Yanks started the “Panic Button Week” 6.5 ahead of the Sox, end it 6.5 ahead. 6 more games off the calendar.
They can try to take the Rays head to head. Hopefully, the Sox will still be 7 back on the loss side going into the last 9, of which 6 are against the Yanks. Then the Yanks can knock them out with 2 out of 3 at home.
Berkman back on Tuesday. A-Rod back over the weekend. Andy back in 2 weeks or so.
Shout out to the Rays for hammering the stake through the heart of RSN. Despite the Sox’ problems, were they to make the playoffs they could be trouble.
