Rest Before The Storm

Nope. I’m going…just for a tad.
Programming note: I’ve decided to take a tiny respite from blogging about the Yankees over the next three days or so – but “I’ll be back!” – for sure – when they return to New York for their next, and big, homestand. In the meantime, you’ll be in the capable hands of the other contributors here. Syotos for now.

Wow, Van Morrison looks young there. I only knew him as the older-looking guy at the end of Scorcese’s “The Last Waltz” and a few other 70′s-era clips.
Take care and have fun, Steve!
The Yanks will win tonight, I guarantee it. It’s been that good of a day so far.
I’m a big fan of Van The Man from from Belfast, Northern Ireland to the Nth degree. I’ve seen him a gazillion times live. He’s a poet, a grouch a great musician and his tunes are positively timeless. His current music is still indicative of his tremendous talent. The chubbier and older he gets, the quality of his music stays the same…..
Steve,
Enjoy the rest, but…just saw Joe T. is retiring and Donnie Baseball is taking over. Sorry if this was posted before and I missed it.

BTW…. Van’s Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl is a killer.
Steve, I hope all is well.
I’m very glad to read Donnie is the next manager of the Dodgers. I know he’ll do a fantastic job; although I wish he was wearing pinstripes.
