I’m guessing that Jorge Posada’s name didn’t come up when Joe Girardi entered A.J. Burnett’s profile into the eHarmony site…

For a team struggling with an inconsistent offense, this probably won’t help. Then again, if AJ Burnett pitches better when Jorge Posada is undoing his white-out manicure while sitting on the bench, I’m fine with this.

Plus, for one night, the defense behind the plate will go from unspeakably bad to merely not good.

Cervelli’s no better than Jorge behind the plate. In fact, I’d rather have Jorge calling the game. But, offensively, despite the lack of hitting by Jorge (and anyone not named Cano), you have to have Jorge hitting over Cervelli.

How is it possible that a guy who lost 15 games gmaes gets to say who he’s more comfy with?? He stinks up the joint w/ Cervelli. Girardi is driving me nuts.
