    Here’s the feature.

    It’s a tough question – along the lines of “Why do they sterilize the needles for lethal injections?” and “If you get cheated by the Better Business Bureau, who do you complain to?” And, it will be interesting to see what the Yankees finally decide on this one.

      Fortunately, Jeter’s agent isn’t Boras. The deal will be made w/ the understanding that Jeter wants to return and that the Yanks want him to return.

      I had a boss who negotiated my annual raise via slips of paper. He’d have us each write a number on a slip of paper and then we’d look to see what the other had written. We’d continue swapping until our numbers matched. I’d always leave the room happy.

      I remember Bernie Williams called Geaorge once when he was a free agent and the Red Sox had offered him more than the Yanks. Maybe Hal and Jeter should sit down, alone, and talk it out.

      Maybe they should. And along with salary they should discuss the possibility of Jeter moving to 3B.
