Cashman: Signing Rivera & Jeter Are “Layups”

Yankee fans need not fear, free agents Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera aren’t going anywhere. GM Brian Cashman called signing Jeter and Rivera “layups in terms of knowing that [the Yankees] have to get done.”
Who says white men can’t jump?

You don’t actually have to jump to make a layup.
Believe me, I know.
So I guess we can call Arod’s current contract an airball. It will be ugly in a few years.
