Phil Rogers looks at teams other than the Yankees who could use Derek Jeter.  Betcha Casey Close is hoping one of those teams picks up the phone soon.

That article is just laughable. Replacing Albert Pujols, the greatest player in baseball today, with four years of Derek Jeter? Are you kidding me?

The Red Sox are plausible, barely. However they have open running sores at catcher and corner infield and outfield, so using valuable big bucks on Jeter would seem to be unlikely.

The Orioles could be a real competitor, but McPhail is too smart to offer Jeter more than 2 years.

The other teams on Rogers list are absurd. I don’t have the time to go into why in each case.

Does Phil Rogers really write for the Chicago Tribune or is this a reprint of an article from The Onion. Mentioning clubs interested in Jeter without mentioning dollars and years! Show me the money.
