   I doubt that this’ll have any reaction at all. For the most part, it’ll be business as usual, unless the player signed is like 14 years old or something.

   Having said that, it is an interesting case, as is usually the case with Cuban defectors.

   Come to think of it, I’d extend that sentiment to international scouting and signings in general.

   Something is fishy here. They claim that they couidn’t find a publisher because no one wanted to publish a book that might be offensive to the New York Yankees.

   Agreed. If Selena Roberts’s book taught us one thing, it’s that publishers are more than happy to print hearsay as long as it tarnishes the Yankee brand in some way.
