Just curious as to why you picked the A’s. The Yanks aren’t competing with the A’s for a playoff spot so I don’t see why a comparison of these two pitching staffs really matters.
For the record, I picked the A’s because I think Brett Anderson (and, to a lesser extent, Trevor Cahill) are the bomb.

On MLB Radio this AM, the topic was “The Yankees starting rotation is still better than [fill in the team]” and no one thought it was better than Oakland’s. And, that gave me the idea for the poll.
@ Steve Lombardi:
Gotcha.
The Yankees SP weren’t better than the A’s last year, and they aren’t better now.
FWIW, the Yanks SP (WRT r/g) were 5th in the AL, behind the A’s, Rays, Twins and Rangers.
Doesnt matter…we all know A’s pitchers cant sustain any longevity anyhow
The A’s had the best pitching staff in the league last year…maybe the best pitching staff in all the majors. But they were a .500 ball club.
The A’s starting pitchers are better than the Yankees’ starters right now.
The Yankee rotation is not totally set, now, either.
