Know what I would really like to see? I’d love to have a nice group photo of Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Bernie Williams, Mariano Rivera and Andy Pettitte, circa 1998-2000.
Or, maybe a nice group photo of Graig Nettles, Thurman Munson, Willie Randolph, Sparky Lyle and Ron Guidry, circa 1977-1979.
If you could pick your group of Yankees teammates to have in one photo, what group and from what time period, would you choose?
I’d want any photo that includes Paul O’Neill and Don Mattingly together.
I had a photo of Winnie, Rickey and Donnie, but I don’t know what happened to it.
Maybe the core of the greatest team ever assembled:
Gehrigh, DiMaggio, Dickey, Lazzeri, Henrich, Gomez, Ruffing, Murphy.
(Not too mention Rolfe, Crosetti, Chandler, Selkirk, etc., etc., etc.)
I’m not really into collectibles, actually.
Kubek, Richardson, Tresh, Mantle, Maris, Howard, Skowron, Boyer, Ford. The starting lineup from Game 1 of the 1962 World Series.

Then there’s this one, that has everyone but Mariano, as far as I can tell. Bernie, Jeter and Posada are together, center-left; Andy appears to be the last one on the right. It’s spoiled by the SI banner. Too bad.
