    September 23rd: Roger Maris 61st – 50th Anniversary Tribute (Ceremonies begin at 6:15 p.m. ET)

    Should be a good one.

      It hadn’t even occured to me that this is the 50th anniversary of 61 in ’61.

      It should be a neat celebration. I wonder if any of Mantle’s family will be invited as well since that was the year of the great M&M boys.

      Maybe, but I think the focus will be on Maris’ 61. I bet they’ll really play it up, as him being the “clean” holder of the record.
