What To Do With Jorge? No, The Other Jorge

As a Yankees fan living in the Rochester area I always take an interest when the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (or the S-WB Masons, as I call them) come to town. The following is from today’s Rochester Democrat and Chronicle sports page, and it raises an interesting question in my mind: What to do with Jorge?

Hopefully he keeps hitting and becomes a decent trade chip for a mid-season pitching acquisition.
The only way I see him getting any AB’s is if Posada goes down with an injury…Vazquez is an all stick, no glove kinda guy..and his stick has holes in it.
Best value for him would be as a throw in to a bigger trade. Otherwise he’s just the next Shelley Duncan.
@ Corey Italiano:
If Posada goes down, and Montero is mashing AAA, do you think the Yankees will call him up to DH? Or will they not want to stunt his catching development?

I would think it depends entirely on when it happens. If Posada goes down sometime this month I’d bet they call up Greg Golsen and use Andruw Jones a bit more. If it’s later in the year, I think we’ll see Montero.
Bottom line, this year I’d bet you’ll see Cervelli play in a major league game before Montero. (Not implying that Montero won’t be called up at all, I just think he’ll be in AAA for a bit).
