    I really thought that A.J. Burnett would find a way to choke this one up.

    Didn’t happen.

    I guess it’s not the end of the world, afterall.

      Oh, AJ wasn’t great, but Mets lineup not strong enough to bury him without Wright, Davis and Pagan.

      He was OK. Nothing special.

      Mets Triple-A team is the Buffalo Bisons. Some say that most of that team is playing in Queens now.

      Meh…Beltran’s on the team, as are Reyes and Bay. Daniel Murphy was supposed to have been the opening day first baseman last year, and would’ve been, but for horrible injuries. F-Mart’s been a prospect for years.

      By my count, it’s a little silly to look at a team that has four or five regulars and just simply call them a AAA team.

      Yes, the Mets moved their AAA affiliate from Norfolk to Buffalo. I’ve been to Pilot Field (or whatever they’re calling it this week) a couple of times to watch SWB when they were in town.

      Decent facility, it was built with expansion in mind, though the time for Buffalo to get a MLB team has passed.

      The team is one game under .500 with a starting rotation that, on paper, makes you just laugh out loud.

      Where they end up is one thing but where they are now is another. The Mets don’t stink in large part because Beltran and Reyes are playing the way the back of their baseball cards say they can play.
