Yanks Lucky 7th Sinks Mets

I wonder what the winning percentage is, all-time, of teams to score 8 runs or better in the bottom of the 7th inning of their game?
8-ball! The answer is yes!

Lotta credit to AJ & Nova for bending early but not breaking.
That’s right; it was a lucky 7th. Considering the Yanks BABIP so far this year, I think they were due some.
A lucky 7th…kinda like the Mets lucky 2nd, when Nova couldn’t turn a routine grounder to the box into an inning-ending DP. Only the Mets scored 2 more runs, instead of 8, so they Mets were only 1/4 as lucky, or good, or something.
Better to be lucky and hit .300 than be unlucky and hit .250.
