      What grabs me surveying that list is that, outside of cup of coffee guys like IPK in 2009 and Ryan Bradley in 1998, that group has only amassed nine total World Series rings.

      And only Jeter and Thurm were the exclusive members of that club until Joba & Hughes joined them in 2009. Four players, nine rings in 45 years.
