Derek Jeter Closing In On Another Great All-Time Yankees Record

As of this morning, via the Complete Baseball Encyclopedia, most games played as a Yankee:

Derek Jeter needs just seven more games played to become the Yankees all-time leader in games played.
Too bad that it will probably happen at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It would have been nice to see it happen at the Stadium.
LOL – Oriole Park @ Camden Yards is like Yankee Stadium version 2.0 when the Yankees visit. With it being next to last weekend of the summer, you can bet there will be Yankee fans in droves there next weekend. Just listen to the noise on your TV when a Yankee goes deep.
And btw, when the Red Sox visit there, it’s the same if not worse from an Oriole stand point.
Nice little accomplishment, I must say.
