      What does this victory mean?

Among all the usual post championship hagiography, it means:
the NFL regular season is basically meaningless. Time to stop watching it.

      Has “The Curse” changed sports?

Have to admit, when the Pats hit that 4th and 16 in the 4th quarter, visions of 2001 and 2004 jumped into my head. Glad this didn’t end like the 2001 WS or 20004 ALCS.

At the 5th Grade spelling bee.

      Teacher: You’re word is “elite.”

      Student: “Elite.” E-L-I…..M-A-N-N-I-N-G

You know, I was just thinking about teams that have won a lot of SBs.

From memory, I think that the Steelers have six, 49′ers and Cowboys have five each, Packers have four and now the Giants have four.

I’m pretty sure that one else has 4+ rings.

It’s amazing that the Giants are one of these 5 teams.

Think of the poor guy who went into a coma during training camp and who came out of it this morning. He’s asking “You mean it wasn’t the Jets and the Eagles in Superbowl 46?”

      @ Evan3457:
2004 Cardinals: 105-57 (.648), swept in World Series
2006 Cardinals: 83-78 (.516), won World Series in 5 games

Which team had the better year?

Same here. I held my breath (as did everyone in the house I was in) when Brady launched one towards the end zone on the last play.
