Granted, the D.H. rule helped some of these guys. And, PEDs may have helped some others. A-Rod could crack the list in 2012 – assuming he stays healthy.





Using 1980 as a semi-arbitrary cut-off for “modern sports medicine”, it’s surprising that there aren’t more modern players on the list. Maybe it was a little tougher to keep a fleet of cars running back in the day of the ‘old-timers’
