Hideous. I really can’t stand these Memorial Day/Independence Day/Labor Day alternate caps.
I get that selling stuff is how baseball makes money but, jeez, can’t they come up with something that looks halfway decent?
If MLB really wanted to raise some money for charity, then take the game worn jerseys by the players on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day and give them away in a lotto. Make it one dollar per chance. I would have to think that fans in each city would be willing to take a few chances at one buck each. You probably would “sell” each jersey this way for $10K to $50K each.
