Both New York and Boston batted around in the first inning…
Oh, it’s going to be a long night…after a 43 minute first inning.
And, the teams play a split day-night double-header tomorrow…in the heat.
Should be fun.
One of these days the Yanks & Sox will play a game with more hours than innings.
One minute short of 4 hours for 9 innings tonight.
BTW, what’s with the silver circle on the side of Russell Martin’s catching helmet?

Why I went with wear patch instead of scuff mark is beyond me…
Nah, it looks like a decal or something, at least to me.
