No pressure for the little kids…none at all.
I don’t like it, kids should be having fun and learning how to play the game at this age, not being tracked online.
I dunno.
I think it’s pretty cool for fathers who have to travel for work, or grandparents who live in another state, to be able to “watch” in real time and see how their little slugger is doing in the big game (when they cannot be there in person).
@ Steve L.:
I get that aspect of it, but really these are kids…high school and up and I’m fine with it. Think about the kids who just aren’t as good. It can’t be great for their self esteem to see that they’re batting .083.
@ Corey:
I dunno.
I played Little League back in 1974.
That was way before the internet, computers, and spreadsheets. But, back then, I used to track my own batting average.
I think kids always know if they are doing good or not…
