Jones’d

Pissed as all hell as a Yankees fan that they spit the bit so quickly after tying the game.
But, man, that was a pretty swing by Adam Jones.

Especially after the HR comes after a pitch over the batter’s head…
Perhaps Robertson should’ve stayed with the low socks? :p
Steve, I feel like you just kicked me in the gut! I was getting too stressed out watching the game so I DVR’ed it and went online to catch up on my WW posts and what do I see? “Jones’d” Damn!

Perhaps Robertson just isn’t as good as we all thought?
Seriously, what is going on with this Orioles team?! Have they been tested for PEDs?!

He’s been pretty good for the past 3 years. Pretty good this year too.
Got my tickets, will be there Saturday.

No need to test for PED’s, look at the pitches that are being hit out; fat fastballs, hitters are doing what they’re supposed to be doing with them.

Good luck. Don’t take no crap from those O’s fans.
All 3 HR’s the Orioles hit in the 8th were absolute meatballs with a “KILL ME” sign in bright pink neon.
That’s all there is to it.
You want to win games? Make better pitches. Hit mistakes when the opposing pitchers make them.
Y’all notice that the Yanks played hard tonight?
They played very good defense tonight?
They dove and hustled, and fought back from 5 runs down in the 8th?
And none of it matters because the O’s hit 6 home runs.

Yes, they are finally showing signs of some life. All we need is a split and we should be OK. The O’s have 6 games left against the Rays and a West Coast trip as well.
What’s the deal with Reynolds doing bat flips on home runs that land in the 2nd row? More than drill worthy if you ask me.
Who’s the hungry dog in the division? Raw will takes the division at this point.
Justin F-ing Thomas in Sept game??!! As Jimi Hendrix once put it, “It’s enough to make me get up and SCREAM!” Next Derek Lowe will be anointed “set-up” status. Yankee Stadium should have a special “Venting Day”. I’ll fly up for that one…
It seems like:
1) Every opposing pitcher has a perfect “book” on Yankee hitters.
2) They are executing that “book” very well much more often that not and always in key situations with RISP.
3) Every Yankee pitcher is determined to throw thigh high fastballs in in the midle of the plate when they are ahead in the count.
4) The Yankees have decided that making the opposing hitters move their feet is unsportsmanlike conduct.
5) Martin, Granderson and Swisher will swing hopelessly at a breaking pitch once they get two strikes
6) Robbie will chase a high fastball or a low inside curveball just about every AB.
We are damn hard to watch right now.
