Watching on TV in seemed that Hughes “maybe” hit Martin’s mitt 20%, off the top of my head. His pitches had an arm side tailing action….he was lucky, and ‘wildly effective’, although he threw some nice change-ups a few times. Something about tonight’s performance has me worried. Maybe it has to with watching hitters foul off pitch after pitch before one gets launched. Guess we’ll have to trade him before he picks up his first Cy Young, on his way to the HOF
