They really like Harry Belafonte, don’t they? Even Sterling got into the act with “back to back & belly to belly”
When did they start playing this at ballparks, anyway? I mean, it doesn’t really fit for anything.
Day Off. Daaaaay Off. Day Off come and they went home.

That’s what I have always wondered.
BTW, way off topic, my son, who’s eight, pitched for the first time ever in a Little League game tonight. One inning. He allowed a few baserunners. But, he also got two K’s. The other out in the inning came when he fielded a comebacker and threw the batter out at first. His second K ended the inning with the bases loaded. It was a lot of fun for him to pitch for the first time. And, I’ll sure remember it.
@ Steve L.:
That’s great!
Glad he enjoyed it. With kids it’s tough, because they enjoy when they do well, and they don’t want to go anywhere near the mound when they don’t do well.
Yup. But, he said that he liked catching more. So, I suspect that he will volunteer to do that as much as possible. Yet, I know the manager sees him now as someone who will be counted on to do a share of the pitching.
Either way, it’s good for him. Those are the two most active spots at this age, eight, and he wants to be always doings something on the field.
