I’m thinking, if we cannot get (at least) a dozen to ring in over a 24-hour period, it’s time to drop the curtain.
You cannot ask for a more exciting baseball time now, in baseball, esp in Yankeeland. And, if that doesn’t bring folks out, then, it’s time to move on…
Ugh-oh! It’s Steve’s 6 month shutdown the blog, don’t talk about the Yankees, and/or recreate the blog as just random baseball thoughts, itch. I think someone needs some Tough Actin’ Tinactin.
Oh.. sorry I am new to this blog.. I had no idea.. you mean this blog shuts down after BB is over?.. Wow, I thought it would stay open.. After all, we have the postseason, winter meetings and of course what players stay and go… I was looking forward to those discussions.
Just trying to get a feel on who is reading the blog these days. I know that, in terms of visits and page views, the traffic today is about the same as it’s been for the last six months, thereabouts. But, the activity in the comments section is way down, lately. Seems odd.

The blg has been up and open 24/7, 365 days a year, since April 2005. But, at times, I have considered shutting it down. And, at times, the posting format has varied. But, since, for me, baseball season is everyday, it’s never shut down after the season.

so much for thinking they are links to other sites.. WHO WOULD HAVE THUNG THAT?…I guess I have allot of catching up to do then?.. 7 years worth of Homework.. Jeeze, you guys dont make this easy for the newbies!!…
Yankees traded Phill Hughes and D-Rob to the fish for RF Giancarlo Staton.. Russell Martin, and Ivan Nova was traded to the NY Mets for third baseman David Wright..
And the one I like the most, Hal and Hank are seriously considering hiring Steve L to be Brian Cashmans new boss!.. Ok, will this keep the blog up during the offseason now?
Still here. Still reading everyday. Been in India for the past week do haven’t been able to watch the games, which has been killing me so I’ve been watching the Cricket World Cup to get some type of fix.
Maybe it’s hard to bite your fingernails and type at the same time?
Ain’t that the truth! These Yanks refuse to make it easy on themselves, don’t they? I’m trying to figure out which team is trying to clinch the East and which team is fighting to stay out of last tonight…
I still read all the time; I’ve just become increasingly more busy as time goes on. Full time job where I try not to comment, consulting on the side, spending time with the girl…there’s just not enough time in the day.
Say hello, will ya?
Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap!!!

Ten in 24 hours?

@ Steve L.: Girardi said I needed a couple of half days so I’ve been limited to reading and not commenting (kind of a DH).
