It’d be pretty tough to top the one in Japan. That’s got to be the best one ever until further notice.
The late Ivan Calderon had a catch like Snider’s in Tiger Stadium back in the late 80s, so an A for effort, but no grade for originality for Snider.
There was another Japanese player who made one like Snider. IIRC, Len Berman used to feature it on the opening of spanning the globe…

FWIW, their numbers carried over; Ichiro wore 51 with the Orix Blue Wave & Seattle. He’s not wearing 51 with the Yanks for obvious reasons. Igawa wore 29 with the Hanshin Tigers, and all levels of the Yanks, and now with the Buffaloes in NPB.
The Orix Blue Wave and Kinetsu Buffaloes merged, so now the franchise is know as the Orix Buffaloes.
