    If I could pick one swing for my 8-year old right-handed hitting son, if it turned out to Edgar Martinez’s, I wouldn’t be upset.

      Edgar Martinez was a GREAT hitter, and should’ve been in the majors about 3-5 years before the M’s gave him a real shot. If he had been, he’d be a lock to the skies Hall of Famer. As it is, he probably doesn’t make it, and that’s kind of a shame.
