Braves And Rangers In The 9th

Hey, Atlanta and Texas had their shot – each getting the tying run to the plate in the last inning. But, they didn’t get the big hit.
O’s and Cards advance.

Well at least the Yanks won’t have to travel far! O’s seem like a team of destiny. Yanks are better at almost every position but we shall see…I’m kinda glad the Rangers are out of it now.
Well, the Yank could definitely emerge from all this as the AL champs when the smoke clears. Like the Grateful Dead once sang, what a long strange trip its been (so far).
In thinking about it again, I think I’d rather have faced the Rangers, for what we just saw in the 9th inning…
Yanks have beaten Joe Nathan in key spots, not so with Johnson, well at least not since Johnson became a setup man, and then the O’s closer.
@ Evan3457:
Hopefully the Yanks can feast on their starting pitching and make JJ a non factor
I think we’re going to see a 5-game series in the O’s-Yankees ALDS, unless the Yankees really screw it up and allow the O’s to win in 4 games.
I’m still waiting for the O’s players to remember that they suck.
I have a feeling the Yanks are gonna make quick work of them.

It’s like Looney Tunes…they’ve run off a cliff and one with one glance down they are gonna be in for a big fall.
Showalter the coyote, with the anvil coming down from yomder sky…
